While the journey from blockbuster filmmaker to plant shop owner might seem an unlikely one, it was a natural next step for Bryan McBrien, owner of interior plant shop Green p.s. (greenplantshopllc.com).

Recently opened across from Trilith Studios, the shop boasts lush flora, assorted pottery and decorative elements worthy of a movie set. “When the pandemic decimated all industries for months on end, I started to feel like working 90-hour weeks and always being on the road wasn’t for me anymore,” says McBrien. “I then decided it was time to jump into the Pinewood retail area.” The result of McBrien’s leap of faith?
