It’s the place to be seen if you seek social and culinary excellence in sumptuous comfort. Opening its doors in Atlanta, The Associate is a brand-new member’s club for men and women looking to escape the ordinary. Visually stunning, the ambiance is modern, sexy and refreshingly intimate, attracting a clientele who desire a unique flavor and distinct crowd. Here, The Associate’s Michel Arnette, a seasoned veteran in the restaurant industry, discusses his vision for the club—and the luxe interiors that enliven each room.

What was the initial concept for The Associate? The Associate was born from a desire to offer an exceptional dining and entertainment experience in an exclusive and private setting. The private club attracts Atlanta’s most discerning and cultural residents.

What ambiance were you looking to create? Ambiance is not just created through a vision of interior design and its aesthetic. Our ambiance and its intent have been carefully curated by a visionary culinary and hospitality team. This identity afforded me an opportunity to design a space that tells the story of our passion for people, a creative culinary pursuit, and a desire to mix the two in a modern and very sexy environment.

How would you describe the client of The Associate? The client, or better yet, the guest member, is well traveled, culturally educated, personally and professionally successful, and humble and gracious in their constitution.

What are key furnishings used throughout the space? The furnishings include custom-designed lighting, special artisan-crafted wood with brushed gold metal trim wall panels, lavish leather booths, lounging banquets, and modern club chair seating. The artwork is by three Atlanta artists who have all uniquely contributed to this innovative concept.
