San Francisco-based Studio AHEAD reimagines wool with its SHEEP collection, inspired by the diasporic journey of founders Homan Rajai and Elena Dendiberia. Drawing from Northern California’s rich natural resources, the furniture line—which showed at The Future Perfect’s Beverly Hills outpost earlier this year—features wool-felt created with artisan Jessica Green Switzer, who works with local sheep herding communities to help bring the outdoors in. “Maintaining a connection to the natural environment is a constant, a necessity for our well-being,” states Rajai. “The other constant is maintaining a connection to our community.”
