The new garden tub by Soake Pools is cast in architectural concrete and finished in a handtiled glass mosiac.

Karen and Brian Larson were enjoying a winter’s evening, soaking in an outside pool at a resort in Vermont. The snow was falling, and the water kept them warm, not hot, just perfectly warm. Brian said to Karen, “I want one of these for our yard.” And that was essentially how Soake Pools (soakepools.com) was born. Now almost ten years later, the company known for their year-round plunge pools, has introduced a garden tub. Inspired by ancient, ornate watering troughs, the exterior is cast in architectural concrete, and the inside is finished in exquisite glass mosaic tile. Choose from garden-inspired interior palettes or opt to design a custom tile. “Fill it with gorgeous rose petals and bath salts and soak in your secret garden while it’s in full bloom on a hot summer’s night,” says Karen. The tub is large enough to accommodate two adults, and a smaller size is coming soon. The idea of bathing under the stars may just be the inspiration you need to get outside and plant some flowers.
