When homeowners first sought to conceptualize their dream home, they enlisted the creative visions of Shawna Kuykendall. The goal was to curate a dynamic space full of energy and splashes of color perfect for this family of five to settle in. “We were thrilled to collaborate with a dear friend who trusted our creative vision,” shares the Dallas-based designer. “Despite our client’s playful veto on the color green, we had an enjoyable time exploring a myriad of other colors through layering wallpapers, bold paint choices, draperies, and fabrics.” Every element of the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home was carefully designed with a playful palette top of mind. With a bustling family inhabiting the space, weaving that throughout the 6500-square-foot space was optimal. “From vibrant accents to curated treasures, every corner of this home tells a story of creativity, warmth, and familial joy, reflecting our commitment to crafting spaces that celebrate individuality and vibrant family life,” notes Kuykendall regarding the final result. “From selecting captivating art to designing custom furniture and curating the perfect accessories, it was a delightful journey to complement and complete the renovations envisioned by Purva Jain Design Studio.”
