The recently opened RH England, a flawless blend of retail and hospitality spanning 73 acres in the verdant Cotswolds, represents the most inspiring and immersive physical expression of the RH brand to date. Four centuries after Aynho Park’s construction in 1615, RH has meticulously restored and reimagined this rare Grade 1 listed architectural masterpiece. Renowned British architect Sir John Soane expanded and refurbished the property in the early-19th century, giving the space a gorgeous charm perfect for those looking to get away.

Set upon an elevated plateau at the southern edge of Aynho Village, the vast estate features historic gardens and unfettered views of Europe’s largest herd of white hart deer. Here, hospitality unfolds with three primary restaurants – The Orangery, a live-fire concept; The Loggia, an outdoor venue featuring wood-fired pizzas, and The Conservatory, an American bistro, opening later this fall – as well as a Wine Lounge, Tea Salon, Juicery and Sunset Terrace.
Venturing west from the Salon, visitors will arrive at what was once the formal dining room – now The Tea Salon, offering afternoon tea service featuring classic specialty teas accompanied by freshly baked scones, clotted cream and housemade preserves. The westward sequence of spaces comes to a dramatic end in The Architecture & Design Library, created by Sir John Soane. Here, RH honors his legacy with a carefully compiled collection of vintage, contemporary and rare out-of-print books from some of the most influential creators of the last 2,000 years.
Commanding the center of the library is the first edition of De Architectura libri Dece (The Ten Books on Architecture), printed in 1521 and authored by master Roman architect Vitruvius during the 1st century BC. An exacting replica of Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man also anchors the room.
In the east wing, The Conservatory – an American bistro opening in fall 2023 – will be defined by a soaring glass roof, century-old Spanish olive trees and three monumental salvaged brick fireplaces. The Orangery, a live-fire dining experience in the west wing, features a marble hearth flanked by custom Molteni rotisseries from France and Calacatta gold marble tables. The adjoining Wine Lounge, once the French drawing room, serves exceptional Champagnes and wines from around the world.
Ascending one of two grand staircases, visitors will discover beautifully appointed private rooms and suites. The east wing also houses The RH Interior Design Studio, providing an unprecedented level of professional design services. Just off the west wing, The Loggia offers wood-fired pizzas, charcuterie boards and rustic shared plates in a relaxed outdoor setting with limestone fountains and fire tables overlooking the estate’s naturalistic landscapes. The adjacent Juicery serves fresh juices, craft espresso and grilled baguettes. At the estate’s westernmost edge, The Sunset Terrace & Fire Pit is an open-air lounge space designed as a destination to take in transcendent countryside views.
