Realtor Sam Bayne gives us the behind-the-scenes scoop inside Atlanta's real estate market.

I’ve been in the industry in Atlanta since 2001, and I have to say this is the most dynamic and exciting time for the real estate market! Between prices and number of offers on homes, home buying and selling has continued to set records these last couple of years. While we are still dealing with low inventory, springtime has historically brought more inventory to market, so we are expecting more homes to be listed to offset some of that. The most important factor right now is still location, location, location. As the neighborhoods change and develop, the condition of the property is still very important, and new construction is pushing prices to incredible levels.
I’m also excited to be a part of Modern Luxury Interiors Atlanta’s luxury “green” issue as I have seen the luxury market really adopt a green outlook in terms of what buyers are looking for when investing in real estate. They want yards, they want trees, they want pools and pool houses—and they want all these things outfitted in the best-of-the-best brands in the outdoor industry. I know I certainly do, as my family and I spend most of our time outdoors; whether on the lacrosse field with my sons or walking the golf course with my wife, Katie, we like our home to reflect our lifestyle. So, as people continue to stream into Atlanta from the East and West coasts, I am excited to work with clients to find the right fit in the luxury market for today’s families.
