SV DESIGN
The architecture and design firm added a third office to its expanding footprint at 31 Church St. in downtown Winchester. Established in 1987 in Beverly, the firm opened their second office in Chatham in 2015. The team of residential architects and interior designers is proud to contribute to the communities in which they work and live. MERIDA STUDIO
The Fall River-based contemporary artist workshop has launched its seventh Atelier series, Yarn Unveiled. Conceived by Paris-based artist-in-residence, weaver and textile artist Sylvie Johnson, the limited-edition series explores the mystery of yarn—a culmination of years of intensive research, innovation and the study of colors and fiber. AUDREY STERK DESIGN
In 1995, designer Audrey Sterk started her Nantucket-based business as a painter, inspired by the island community of makers and artists. In 2004, she returned to her roots in interior design, working within the island’s many historic and modern homes. In 2006, she started a wallpaper line inspired by her years of decorative painting and Nantucket’s rich history. GEORGIA ZIKAS DESIGN
This winter, Georgia Zikas, principal designer of the eponymous boutique full-service interior design firm, announced the opening of a second location in South Boston. The 2,700-square-foot location will house both an expansion of the interior design studio and a new event space with a kitchen designed in collaboration with Newton Kitchens & Design, as well as a gallery to showcase the designer’s private furniture collection.
