Morris & Co. Owl & Willow in Bayleaf and Orange, part of the collection celebrating the brand’s 160 years
Along with the title of designer, William Morris was a political theorist, philanthropist, poet and one of the most influential figures of the 19th century, championing and shaping British design and leading Morris & Co. to the icon status at which it remains today. In celebration of 160 years, the heritage brand has compiled a collection of 42 fabrics and 67 wallpapers featuring original and reimagined designs from the vault, as well as a brand-new wallpaper pattern created to mark this milestone. “Since 1861, Morris & Co. has gone from strength to strength, overcoming life’s twists and turns every step of the way. This is an extraordinary accomplishment and we’re marking the occasion with an exciting new wallpaper that captures the spirit of our founder, the master of pattern and repeat,” says head of design Rebecca Craig. This collection seems to bridge generations, traditionalists and new-wavers alike through Morris’ enchanting wildlife, whimsical florals and medieval-influenced patterns. Launching in two different books, experience iconic fabric patterns like Strawberry flief, Willow Bough, Pimpernel and Golden Lily, and feel the comforting familiarity of a pattern that brings with it cherished memories and fond thoughts. 351 Peachtree Hills Ave. NE, Ste. 508, jerrypair.com; morrisandco.sandersondesigngroup.com
