The collection’s earthy tones and textures showcase Cheng’s California roots through details such as tassels, wood accents and organic shapes. Named Moments In Light, the organic and coastal collection of chandeliers, pendants, sconces and lamps brings the outdoors in.
The collection reflects a deep connection to nature through its colors, textures and patterns, and people through its significant names and personalities. Each of the 18 pieces is designed with the capacity to anchor a room as a statement piece or bring an understated balance.
We particularly love the Reyn family, which references traditional Chinese lanterns through its drum silhouettes. Natural woven string and minimal metalwork balance the design. The Abbie family, named for one of Cheng’s first childhood friends, pairs floaty cloud glass with natural jute rope for a playful yet refined finish.
Traditional frameworks receive contemporary silhouettes in the Janie family, which juxtaposes a True Bronze sleeve with an Aged Brass frame. Scalloped shades round off the design. Those looking for a nostalgic feel should look no further than the January table lamp, which is full of organic materials such as woven jute and smooth walnut wood.
