“I wanted to bridge the gap between transitional and modern with my own collected aesthetic,” says Marty Mason of Merge Home, the newest decor destination to hit the Westside Design District. Representing the culmination of Mason’s design evolution, Merge Home is all about clean lines, buttery natural light and a casual yet refined lifestyle. “There’s always an appreciation for merging styles new and old, which makes the design very versatile and dynamic,” shares Mason. “I always like something unexpected in the room; it’s the piece you didn’t know you were looking for that adds the final detail.” Mason has brought his design expertise to the Westside since 2003, so he couldn’t imagine a better home for his newest concept. “Right next door we have every kind of design style imaginable, plus fantastic restaurants, the BeltLine and easy access to artists and vendors,” he raves. “People stop in because they’re intrigued by the look of our building—really, it is a dream come true!” Between Merge’s gorgeous products from brands such as Caracole, Century and Bernhardt and the stunning storefront, it comes as no surprise that Merge Home has become an instant Atlanta staple.
