Principal designer, founder and CEO of Living with Lolo (livingwithlolo.com) Lauren Lerner knows a thing or two about crafting unique spaces. During the pandemic, she decided it was time to take the next step in both her business and personal life, leading to the genius idea of crafting a private dwelling that could also act as a showroom.
Custom sectionals and trendy accessories add character to the living room.
“Our aim was to create a haven that not only reflects my unique vision but also caters to the demands of my busy life as a mother and creative firm owner,” Lerner explains. “This custom home seamlessly combines a private sanctuary, a functional home office and an enthralling entertaining space.”
The modern home office boasts sculptural lighting and a cozy fireplace.
The 5,917-square-foot abode is peppered with Lerner’s favorite vendors and brands, acting as a livable showroom for friends and clients to peruse and inspire. From Arteriors and Visual Comfort lighting to Thibault wallpaper, Wolf and SubZero kitchen appliances and architectural Azzuro Living patio furniture, the home effortlessly emanates contemporary luxury.
Layers of texture add interest to the black-and-white guest room.
Lerner followed a primarily neutral palette, adding interest with a sumptuous blend of textures and splashes of bold color, like in the punchy pink fitness studio. She adds, “The vibrant bursts of color combined with captivating details beautifully showcase my unique personality.”
Lerner hosts sumptuous dinner parties in her chic dining room.
Another captivating feature? “Its seamless indoor-outdoor flow takes center stage as the primary highlight, necessitating the perfect harmony between the interior furnishings and the surrounding landscape design,” Lerner boasts. This is particularly palpable in the spalike primary bath and the allocated office space in the pool house, among many other biophilic elements.
The light-filled kitchen boasts custom cabinetry and premium Wolf and SubZero appliances.
“The rest of the home is infused with my personality, making it comfortable for me, my 8-year-old son and our two dogs to live in,” she shares.
Lerner’s dedicated office for herself and her staff sits in the well-appointed pool house.
Our final take? This modern manse is everything dreams are made of.
