Building on the success of the 2019 Vignettes collection, Kendall Wilkinson and Fabricut released a new collection of indoor textiles and trims that are bold in design yet soft in color for charming and eye-catching additions to any room. Comprised of a tightly curated number of SKUs, 2024’s Vignettes are bright yet soft, ethereal yet substantial, making them easy to incorporate yet hard to miss.

The collection is separated into three books: Daybreak (violets and pinks), Crystal Spring (neutrals and soft blues) and Sapphire Forest (blues and greens). All three books reflect Wilkinson’s love of fashion and travel, with particular inspiration from Nothern California’s landscapes shining.

Daybreak draws influence from Blake Lively's Donatella Versace look at the 2022 Met Gala, with gorgeous pink, aqua and peach tones playing together. Crystal Spring allows San Francisco’s textures to shine, with sandy hues mixing with the soft blues of the sea and sky. A January 2023 trip to Paris, during which Wilkinson viewed the Monet & Mitchell exhibition at Fondation Louis Vuitton, prompted Sapphire Forest’s intense colors and anamorphic shapes.

We particularly love the Ribbontie trim in Pear for a whimsical yet refined touch. We can’t get enough of the Alice’s Wonderland fabric in Day Break, a yummy colorway of perfectly balanced lavender, blue, orange and spice that can create the accent chair of your dreams. For upholstery that is equal parts beautiful and sustainable, Sustainable Chenille is the obvious choice, which we love in Forest, a rich green tone perfect for grounding a room.
