A peek inside Armadillo’s new showroom in the La Cienega Design Quarter.
CUT A RUG
La Cienega Design Quarter is the new home to luxury rug brand Armadillo’s sixth showroom, a chic reformed warehouse expertly curated by design group Studio GOSS. The space oozes chic art gallery vibes, seamlessly showcasing rails upon rails of garment-sized samples tucked away in vibey, intimate pockets. Interiors reflect the softened aesthetic of Tokyo and Paris fashion ateliers—think soft tones, gentle curves, brassy finishes and blackened steel. The AP Chair is both chic and comfortable.
TAKE A SEAT
Marking one of the brand’s signature designer product launches, Thomas Hayes Studio has partnered with interior designer Alison Palevsky to create the Art Deco-inspired AP Chair that debuted at the 2023 West Edge Design Fair. Says Palevsky, “We sought to design a chair that was old-world elegant with modern-day comfort. The chair’s voluptuous lines feel inviting and evoke a feeling of glamour and old Hollywood style.” Handmade in L.A. and available in leather, shearling and COM upholstery, the seat makes a dramatic statement with gold accents, a perfectly rounded seat and smooth curves—a stunning addition to any luxe interior. thomashayesstudio.com

MADE IN ITALY
“The kitchen is the cornerstone of life, bringing together food, family and shared experiences,” notes Diva Group founders Stephanie De Oliveira and Philippe Rousselin. In this vein, they have joined forces with high-end kitchen brand Arclinea to design a showstopping mono-brand showroom in the heart of the West Hollywood Design District. The 3,000-square-foot space showcases four distinct kitchen designs: Lignum Et Lapis, a living unit featuring stone, stainless steel and wood; Convivium, boasting a welcoming island table and canopy shelves; Thea, practical wet and show kitchens; and Italia, utilizing steel, suspended hoods and the brand’s famous double-island layout. arclinea.com
