For these Houston-based clients, the goal was to create the ultimate escape to Nantucket Island for a vacation residence. Enlisting the design expertise of Cathy Chapman, the clients’ hopes for a traditional charming abode that might one day turn into a forever home came to life in this home. Initially built in 1990, the homeowners purchased the property in 2020 and sought to transport the colonial home into a sophisticated space that helped to infuse outdoor living within the interior space.
