This Houston family enlisted help from Chapman Design to create their dream vacation home on Nantucket Island.
The entry features lanterns from Charles Edwards and an elegant settee finished in Kerry Joyce Textiles fabric, sourced from Samuel & Sons.
For these Houston-based clients, the goal was to create the ultimate escape to Nantucket Island for a vacation residence. Enlisting the design expertise of Cathy Chapman, the clients’ hopes for a traditional charming abode that might one day turn into a forever home came to life in this home. Initially built in 1990, the homeowners purchased the property in 2020 and sought to transport the colonial home into a sophisticated space that helped to infuse outdoor living within the interior space.
The game room packs a punch with Roman shades, a chic sectional from Samuel & Sons, grasscloth wallcovering from Phillip Jefferies, and sconces from Visual Comfort.
