Form and function unite seamlessly in this stunning kitchen.
The team weaved appliances from Sub Zero Wolf & Cove throughout the kitchen.
Tucked in the Tanglewood neighborhood sits this sensational custom build from Frankel Design Build with interior touches from designer Marie Flanigan. One of the most covetable rooms in this swoon-worthy space sits in the heart of the home—the kitchen. Weaving together the perfect mixture of form and function, the bespoke room was designed with culinary excellence and entertaining top of mind. “The ultimate goal was to have a perfect blend of traditional and modern, so the house feels part of the neighborhood but has hidden hints of the clients’ modern style,” shares Scott Frankel. “Strategic placement of big picture windows and doors became the key to designing this house. Well-planned transitional spaces like the Foyer and stairwell give a sense of privacy and the ability to enjoy natural light.” Enlisting top-tier appliances and Sub Zero Wolf & Cove as the appliance vendor, the kitchen is a dream. Regarding the space, Kevin Frankel notes: “Opening up the great room, kitchen, and breakfast areas to the back yard and keeping the privacy from the entry helped create the traditional front to a modern/transitional back.“
