The ultimate goal for this project was to create a space that would simultaneously serve as a respite for private family life and also function as a gathering spot for large family gatherings, friends and events, all while encompassing the client’s unique style and taste sensibilities,” shares Hallie Henley Sims, who helped craft this gorgeous five bedroom four bathroom home. From bold and brilliant colorways peppered throughout each room to eye-catching finishings, the home has an elevated sense of elegance with a romantic flair. “Sugei Medina (from Hallie Henley Design) was integral in the design of the residence, as was the brilliant architect Nadia Palacios Lauterbach,” notes Sims. “There are so many jewel box moments in this house, from the study to the dining room to the kitchen, but the powder bath serves as a great example of the ethos of the house as a whole. The use of color while bold is nuanced and tempered by the use of texture, authentic materials (unlacquered brass and beautifully veined marbles) and the use of vintage lighting from Italy.”
