After a two-year hiatus, Chicago design industry stalwart Designs for Dignity hosted its much-anticipated annual fundraising gala, Spirit of Design, at scenic Lincoln Park venue Theater on the Lake.

Over 400 guests, including Michael Abrams, Derick Goodman, Mary Pat Wallace, Nicholas Moriarty and more, mingled over craft cocktails and bites and enjoyed live entertainment and an impressive raffle with prizes such as a Vispring King Elite bed.

Designs for Dignity honored late interior designer Jeannine Balsam with a heartfelt tribute in her memory. In the end, the event was a massive success as the evening raised a record-breaking $210,000, which will fund the remodeling and revitalization of Chicagoland nonprofits’ spaces.
