This September, come out and celebrate a fun-filled week of all things textiles. Organized by Kat Neary, explore a weaving mill and enjoy a curated show of up-and-coming textile artists. Sit in on lectures by expert textile scholars and designers as The Merchandise Mart or experience the Design Call where you can watch selected designs be translated into fabrics for upholstery in real time. Plus, a full day is devoted to open studio tours of the most interesting artists and makers Chicago has to offer.
