Being a busy mother of five and a wife, finding time to relax is few and far between, but with the help of Jenna Gross, the creative force behind Colordrunk Designs (colordrunk.com), this mother has found her perfect sanctuary. Her client wanted a space to unwind and entertain friends, free from the chaos of daily family life. Gross took this vision and ran with it, creating a room that is as functional as it is fabulous. The Champagne Room is a vibrant, elegant, and unique space that captures the bold testament of Gross’s signature style.
Inspired by an Ashley Longshore painting, The Champagne Room exudes spirit with a perfect blend of elegance. The room features various shades of pink that induce energy and tranquility, straying from the home’s neutral tones. The walls are painted a rosy hue featuring butterflies and dragonflies, complementing the plush velvet seating in contrasting tones. Gold accents throughout the room add a touch of glamour, emphasizing the femininity Gross’s client wanted to translate.
Every detail has been meticulously curated to create a cohesive and delightfully unexpected space. The room radiates the retro charm of a 1970s sitting room, a decade known for its bold design choices. The era celebrated daring color palettes, rich textures, and a blend of luxurious elements. For Jenna Gross, the Champagne Room was more than a design project. It was a celebration of individuality and joy.
