Austin Bendetson, the director of real estate and general sales manager for Cabot House Furniture and Design, discusses the brand’s evolution.
The cool glamour of Eichholtz
How do you foresee the evolution of the Cabot House brand?
The evolution of Cabot House (cabothousefurniture.com) is deeply rooted in our long history of adapting to change. Over the past 100 years, we’ve grown from a single showroom to a network of seven locations, a testament to our ability to evolve and expand. Our selection of brands continually shifts to reflect changing styles and trends. If I had told my grandfather that we would one day carry Dolce & Gabbana Casa, he would’ve found it hard to believe. This ongoing transformation is a natural part of our journey and we remain committed to embracing new opportunities and innovations in the future.

What things are you doing to take Cabot House to the next stage?
As a company, we’re committed to continuous evolution. Our next step involves further developing our trade program and introducing new, exciting brands that align with the needs of the interior design community. We’ve partnered with several brands to become their designated trade showroom and will continue to do so at our flagship location in Framingham. Our goal is to offer interior designers the opportunity to see, touch and experience the finest brands from around the world.

What brands are in the showroom for fall that you’re particularly excited about or that you think best represent the new Cabot House?
For fall, I’m particularly excited about two standout brands that will be featured in our showroom. First, we’ve partnered with Adriana Hoyos and have created a stunning gallery that includes five room settings. This collection promises a blend of elegance and sophistication. Additionally, we’re bringing in Eichholtz, a renowned European luxury brand known for its chic and stylish designs. Both brands perfectly capture the essence of the new Cabot House and offer a refined touch to our fall lineup.
