It’s been over a decade since Italian furniture brand Arper, known for its sustainable selects crafted with high-quality materials in a range of rich hues, made its Windy City debut at theMART. Thanks to Chicago’s rich history of architecture and design, the family-owned line became a hit—so much so that the brand recently branched out to its own 4,500-square-foot space in the buzzing Fulton Market design district. “[We] chose to open a stand-alone showroom outside of theMART as it lends an opportunity to reach a broader audience and interact more directly with clients and visitors from the surrounding community,” says CEO Roberto Monti of the brand’s third U.S. showroom and 15th across the globe. “We want to be part of a thriving and diverse neighborhood that serves both industry professionals and consumers alike.”

Following the footsteps of several other design brands planting roots in Fulton Market, Arper showcases its collection in a chic, studiolike setting that lets the chairs, sofas, tables, benches and other luxe products speak for themselves, as well as a library and design studio where clients can browse Arper’s array of options and finishes.

“Arper is a global design brand founded in Italy, but what many people don’t realize is how established we are in the U.S.,” Monti adds. “It’s an important market for the brand. This new location will serve not only the local community but also the broader design community.” 167 N. Green St., Ste. 200, arper.com
