TO LIVE & DINE

Since its inception, To Live & Dine has taken many forms. From its first year in 2014 with just two designers, it has evolved into a synergetic design celebration featuring 14 designers, endless ADAC showroom products, and a seated dinner highlighting local chefs. Now in its 10th year, To Live & Dine is more than an event; it’s a testament to the power of collaboration, the beauty of design, and the chance to celebrate each other’s accomplishments. Most of all, it’s an opportunity to open the doors of ADAC to a new audience ready to take in design.

I’m constantly blown away by the creativity of designing each tablescape each year. It’s interesting to see where each designer’s vision is born and how their personalities are reflected through utilizing partnerships with ADAC showrooms in diverse ways. ADAC is an endless resource for designers, so it’s a beautiful experience to see that inspiration come to life through curated design and delicious dining!

As we continue this journey, we invite you to celebrate the artistry, innovation, and passion that define the design industry. Read more about the designers and showrooms who brought To Live & Dine to life and how they navigate the industry the other 364 days a year. Events like this and partnerships with media outlets like Modern Luxury help us spotlight how design professionals use the exceptional product array offered at ADAC in their projects, from whole homes to elaborate tablescapes and beyond. Seeing how luxury living can be incorporated into everyday life is exciting.

As To Live & Dine has evolved over the last decade, we are excited to see how it will grow for more decades to come. We hope you will join us for To Live & Dine in 2024 as we continue coming together as a community to make design accessible for design enthusiasts, the general public, and future designers so the design industry can continue to thrive.

I believe in creating designs that not only reflect the client’s aesthetic but also provide enduring beauty for years to come. Grizzel & Mann’s offerings perfectly complement our commitment to providing quality products and services. This is just one of the many reasons it’s such a pleasure working with them.”

What were some positive experiences you gained from working with this ADAC showroom? “Grizzel & Mann are integral members of our team by extending their collective wealth of knowledge to assist with our interior design work. Their commitment to promptly providing essential information empowers us to educate clients on the unique specifications that enhance our design projects.

What did the process look like when collaborating with a To Live & Dine designer? “Susan Currie already had a well-defined vision for her tabletop and knew she wanted to feature Arte wallcovering. From that point, she narrowed her selection to the mahogany colorway.”

What attracted you to collaborate with this particular showroom?“I started my design path working in the sample department at Brunschwig and Fils in 2007. My love for traditional and timeless design grew from there! Not only is the brand iconic, but the showroom feels like home to me.”

What were some positive experiences you gained from working with this ADAC showroom?“This showroom takes care of me. When I walked in, I was greeted with hugs, smiles, and the overall feeling of welcome. The entire team feels like an extension to my own personal business. We were both excited to partner for this event. The fabric selections were timely, using their newest collections and inspired by the late summer harvest feel I sought to achieve. Julie, Savannah and the team went above and beyond to help this vision come to life.”

SHOWROOM: BRUNSCHWIG AND FILS, KRAVET, INC. STE. 106, kravet.com

What did the process look like when collaborating with a To Live & Dine designer?“When Hope agreed to scheme a table for To Live and Dine, she came to us to see if we would work with her on supporting her tablescape with some of our patterns and prints. Hope is not only a great customer, but she understands our brand’s ethos. We sent her imagery from the new Cadenet Collection from Brunschwig & Fils, which had yet to be launched, for her to review to see if it inspired some ideas for her table.”

What attracted you to collaborate with this particular showroom?“We chose to work with Pindler mainly because they’ve always had a great selection ready whenever we needed something. The fabric we selected for the table scarf was from their new collection then, and we figured it would be a fantastic way to showcase it down the middle of the table for everyone to enjoy.”

What were some positive experiences you gained from working with this ADAC showroom?“It’s always a delightful experience to work with Charlene, Lindsey, and the rest of the team. The extensive array of collections and the wide variety of color palettes that are always available never fail to impress us.”

SHOWROOM: PINDLER, STE. 211, pindler.com

What did the process look like when collaborating with a To Live & Dine designer?“Nick and Todd came into our showroom searching for the perfect table scarf fabric, and they found it quickly with one of our newer drapery fabrics called Bartlett. Bartlett is a woven sheer drapery casement with a looped yarn and fine yarn for a structured yet organic look. Our showroom offers an efficient self-service memo program to save designers time and hassles.

DESIGNER: TRACI RHOADS, TRACI RHOADS INTERIORS, trinteriors.net

What attracted you to collaborate with this particular showroom?“Phillip Jeffries has long been our “go-to” for the industry’s most innovative and cutting-edge designs. So when I was asked to design a space for the To Live & Dine event, I knew immediately Phillip Jeffries would have what would be the true “wow factor.”

How does the ADAC showroom’s aesthetic align with your own vision and the preferences of your clients?“Our clients expect and seek out TRI for originality, and I thrive on bringing an element of surprise that is the standout feature to every client’s project. Phillip Jeffries aligns with my aesthetic that way and is why we use their wallpaper on almost every project.”

SHOWROOM: PHILLIP JEFFRIES, STE. 319, phillipjeffries.com

What did the process look like when collaborating with a To Live & Dine designer?“Traci Rhoads had a crystal-clear vision. She knew exactly what impact she wanted to make with wall covering and selected Beat. Beat is a large, free-form brush stroke design that moves effortlessly across the wall. Phillip Jeffries was thrilled to work with Traci and ADAC to have this space remain installed through the New Year as part of the Behind the Windows program.”

DESIGNER: JENNA GROSS, COLORDRUNK DESIGNS, colordrunk.com

What attracted you to collaborate with this particular showroom?“Ernest Gaspard carries my line, Tipsi Home’s, exclusive representative to the trade. Which is really a full-circle moment for me. I have shopped with Ernest Gaspard since day one of my design career. As one of the oldest showrooms at ADAC, it is always growing and evolving with the design community, and I could not ask for a better partner for Tipsi.”

What were some positive experiences you gained from working with this ADAC showroom?“Over the past year, I’ve seen firsthand the exciting new updates in the showroom. What hasn’t changed is their team and their dedication to their clients, customers, and partners. Their people helped me grow when I was brand-new in my career as an interior designer, and now they are helping me grow again as a product designer. I am so proud they represent my line and look forward to a bright and colorful future.”

SHOWROOM: ERNEST GASPARD, STE. 109, ernestgaspard.com

What did you provide for the designer’s tablescapes?“Jenna used her own Tipsi Home line of fabrics and wallcoverings on her tablescape, which we proudly represent at the Ernest Gaspard showroom and across the Southern market. Her projects used our sparkly Nancy Corzine Ferrara Lounge Chairs with Davian-crème fabric and Nancy Corzine rainwater console. Jenna loves our Julian Chichester line, including the Liberty Console, Dante side table, and Julian Chichester’s lighting.
