Dreamed up by Austin-based Heather Scott Home & Design (heatherscotthome.com), this Port O’Connor beach house pairs punchy, playful hues with natural woven textures to achieve the ultimate laid-back, coastal vibe. Even the guest room is bedecked in poppy prints and summery shades, proving that each space in the home is as inviting as the next.

Nothing will make your guests feel more at home than a well-appointed window seat. In this Peter Dunham Textiles edition, pinks, oranges and greens take center stage—from the Bukhara ikat pillow to the Peterazzi geometric seat cushion with fuchsia piping.
Cane cabinet doors complete this Worlds Away nightstand while a burlap shade sits atop this Ro Sham Beaux lamp, adding a double dose of woven texture to the room. Brass hardware on both pieces makes for a slightly more polished look.
A framed beach scene by Charleston artist Teil Duncan and a lumbar pillow in pink-andorange Fez by Peter Dunham Textiles stand out against the neutral tones of the Noir four-post bed and Pine Cone Hill white matelassé bedding.
Thanks to a Fibreworks sisal rug and Noir rope bench, the textures in this room play up the home’s beachy locale. The bench seat cushion was reupholstered in Sister Parish’s green Chou Chou fabric for a pop of color.
