What’s the best part of the job?

The endless influx of talent that surrounds me every day. Witnessing such artistry in wallpaper, fabric, furniture and lighting design is truly inspirational. I then get to introduce these works of art to my clients and fill their homes with beauty and life.

Organizations you like to support?

Dell Children’s Hospital will forever be at the top of our list, as it was our home away from home when our son was little. They are miracle workers, and we will forever be grateful to them for taking care of our family.

Party tricks?

Oh dear. With the right people and the right outfit… a high kick?! Drill team muscle memory! The choreography is in there somewhere too.

Hopes for the future?

No joke, the children! I think our kids’ generation shows great compassion, empathy and promise. I try not to get bogged down in the negative chatter about ‘kids today, screens, etc.’ I think this past year (hopefully) has taught them great resilience, and I’m excited to watch them fiourish and contribute to the world.

I never expected that...

Having tweens and teens would be so fun. Three babies didn’t scare me… but the middle and high school years were looming and daunting. Now we’re in the middle of it all, and I couldn’t love these ages more. Maybe because we’re on the same maturity level?

2021 is all about...

Hope. This year may have gotten off to a rocky start, but I’m an eternal optimist. I truly believe we will take the perspective gathered throughout 2020 and infuse joy and levity into our work and our homes.

What’s on the horizon for you?

We have exciting projects popping up around the country. So as long as everything continues in the right direction, and we can do so safely, I foresee quite a bit of travel for my team (and my family!).
