How would you describe your aesthetic? Minimal, pure, essential and timeless.

How do you weave your sense of style into everything you do? I invest in well-considered collections that will never go out of style.

Who are some of your favorite “secret” sources for projects? For dressing rooms and closets, we work with a handful of Italian wallpaper and accessory ateliers. One of them, located just south of Rome in a small village, offers the most exquisite fine leather goods, hangers and custom storage solutions for archiving your most precious pieces.

Wallpaper or paint? Paint—Piero Lissoni Color paint collection for Kerakoll Design House.

What is a timeless design moment you think will never go out of style? European interior design, which is a charming mix of traditional and contemporary styles.

What is the best bang for the buck when it comes to making a big impact on a project? Lighting. It brings emotional value to the architecture. Light draws attention to the textures, colors and forms of a space, helping architecture achieve its true purpose.

What are some of the brands you gravitate toward and why? I gravitate to beauty, quality and timeless elegance. My showroom represents some of the most important interior design brands in the world: Porro, Living Divani, Flexform, Paola Lenti, Baxter, Listone Giordano and Catellani & Smith. And fashion houses I love: GIADA Milano, Bottega Veneta, Ermanno Scervino, Gio Moretti, to name a few.

Which iconic designer/architect is your idol? Claudio Silvestrin.

What’s trending in Phoenix/ Scottsdale design right now? What I see a lot of is a departure from Southwest Tuscan to more transitional modern architecture and cleaner lines.
