Tell us about your business.

Founded in 1908, eggersmann is the oldest family-owned cabinetry manufacturer in Germany. We take personal attention to design your dream spaces with bespoke cabinetry, furniture and innovative solutions for the whole home, inside and out. Limitless color choices and exceptional materials and finishes are handcrafted for your project in our state-of-the-art factory in Germany.

What does your design process look like?

We try to make the design process as easy as possible for our clients. We first obtain a rough floor plan and ask them for inspirational photos. From there we put together renderings for our clients to review and give their thoughts. After a site visit and discussing changes they want to make—along with their wants and needs—we continue to refine the drawings until we make their dreams a reality.

What inspired you to choose this line of work?

After getting a degree in interior design, my first job was working for a designer kitchen and bath showroom. I fell in love with the industry and enjoy seeing our projects come to completion and making our clients’ dreams a reality.

Tell us about some of your most interesting projects.

We recently finished a two-level penthouse in the Bahamas. We were proud to supply and install everything from the TV unit, kitchen, bar, bathroom vanities and wardrobes. Our favorite room was the bar, where we supplied a hidden liquor cabinet that rose up from the countertop electronically. We finished the walls, cabinets and ceilings in smoked eucalyptus. The project turned out amazing.

Do you have any signature design elements?

We are most known for our ‘unique’ kitchen system which was innovated in 2006. Our ‘unique’ line is a kitchen system in which the fronts and countertops are made of identical material. In this system, we use materials such as marble, quartzite, brass and steel.

How is your company a leader in the design world?

We are always innovating and are truly bespoke, so we can make our clients’ dreams a reality. This is very unique when it comes to European cabinet manufacturers.

Describe your design style. Where do you get your inspiration?

Our style is modern luxury with a focus on customization and high-quality materials. I get my inspiration from our other eggersmann dealer partners worldwide and from architects and designers who like to push the envelope, which challenges us and makes our job exciting.

What’s next for eggersmann?

We have come out with many new and exciting products, finishes and innovations that will be displayed over the next year.
